A really unique piece, this sinker heart pine charcuterie board has an original axe-chopped end. This allows us to date this tree as most likely cut prior to 1880, which is when cross-cut saws became the primary tool used to fell trees throughout the region. This sinker heart pine log was recovered in the low-country region of South Carolina and will make a great addition to any holiday gathering!
